Hope everyone had good holidays. My New Year's Resolution is to focus harder on my writing. We'll see how that works out. I'll be taking a trip to Vancouver in the next couple weeks, and I'm hoping to get some stage time out there.
It looks like DAWN DUMONT and I will have an upcoming biweekly feature in ed magazine. It will be a he said/she said look at single life. I'm excited about it. Our first entry should run either next Saturday or the one after.
Speaking of writing, here are a couple other interesting blogs to read:
tonyhomo.blogspot.com --hilarious, especially if you're an NFL fan, though perhaps not if you're a fan of the Cowboys. Written by "The Real Drew Bledsoe" (who is probably not the real Drew Bledsoe--though it would be funny if it was), it looks at the travails of this year's Dallas team through the eyes of a arrogant, petty, and not-very-bright washed up quarterback. Absolutely phenomenal writing.
standingonthebox.blogspot.com - Nightlife through the eyes of a New York bouncer. Not funny, so much, but compelling. Anybody who's worked in the hospitality industry will likely relate.
